N320 though pricy is the cleanest powder I have used and is good in almost all handguns rounds. Some of the obsolete rounds such as the 11 X 60 Mauser works well with it but care is needed.
I've had outstanding results for the 308 Winchester and light bullets (140 grain and lighter) with both IMR 8208 & CFE223, and though I cannot say they are the 'best' for all 308' s (accuracy is more a product of barrel harmonics) - I can say these.
